DESIGNING FOR THE JOURNEY
Rainey’s eyewear program was built around movement, durability, and everyday use. The visual system needed to feel accessible and dependable while remaining flexible across multiple frame styles and product categories.
BUILDING A CLEAR SKU SYSTEM
I organized the product line around a repeatable structure for frame styles, colors, and packaging. Consistent naming, labeling, and hierarchy made the range easier to produce, ship, stock, and understand at retail.
PACKAGING THAT WORKS AT SCALE
The packaging system balanced shelf visibility with manufacturing and shipping constraints. Distinct color bands and product information helped customers quickly identify each style while keeping the overall line visually connected.
CONNECTING PRODUCT AND DISPLAY
Retail displays extended the packaging system into the store environment. The modular approach made it easier to present multiple SKUs together and maintain a recognizable Rainey presence across different retail formats.
FROM CONCEPT TO PRODUCTION
The system was developed with real-world production in mind, including materials, assembly, logistics, and point-of-sale execution. Each touchpoint was designed to support a consistent experience from product development through purchase.
